THE MARKET LEADERS IN ROAD MARKING INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY

Cold Applied Plastic

Cold Applied Plastic (also known as CAP) is Coastlines premium product.
Cold Applied Plastic marking have been used extensively throughout Europe for the last 20 years.
Coastline is the leader in Cold Applied application and technology in Australasia.
All of Coastlines CAP equipment is certified to the NZTA T/12 standards and is regularly serviced.
Cold Applied Plastic was applied on SH2 in Wellington in May 2003. Reflectivity must be maintained above 100mcd/lux/m2 for the 3 million passes (the test involved lines transverse to the carriageway so it was a real measure of vehicles trafficking the line as opposed to performance data based on AADT information and edge lines that only get a small percentage of the traffic crossing it).
After 18 million vehicle passes the line was still measuring 166mcd/lux/m2. A very impressive 66% above the minimum requirements.
